Terms of Use Agreement
1. Acceptance of Terms
Walleto provides an AI‑powered deal comparison and recipe assistance platform for users in the United States and Canada. By creating an account, chatting with Felix, or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Walleto. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
You must be located in the US or Canada to access region‑specific deals and merchant offers.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Walleto is not intended for use by individuals or entities in jurisdictions where our Service is prohibited by law.
3. Service Description
Walleto’s platform, including the AI chatbot Felix, offers the following core features:
Deal comparison: Real‑time price aggregation from hundreds of US and Canadian merchants (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Canadian Tire).
AI chat assistance: Felix understands natural‑language product searches, budget constraints, and cross‑border shopping queries.
Recipe intelligence: Users can ask for recipes based on ingredients or dietary preferences; Felix suggests meals and adds relevant items to deal‑hunt lists.
Price alerts: Users can set notifications for price drops on saved products.
Note: Walleto is a comparison and discovery tool, not a retailer. All purchases are transacted directly with third‑party merchants. We do not sell products or process payments.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
Not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious activities (e.g., fake deal reporting, scraping, botting).
Not attempt to circumvent geographic or merchant‑specific deal limitations.
Not reverse engineer, copy, or commercially exploit any part of Walleto without written permission.
Keep your account credentials confidential and immediately notify us of unauthorized use.
Respect intellectual property rights of Walleto and its partners.
5. Deal & Recipe Information Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy and timeliness, Walleto cannot guarantee that:
All displayed deals are currently active or in stock — merchants may change prices or availability without notice.
Recipe suggestions meet all individual dietary, allergy, or nutritional needs — users should verify ingredients and instructions.
Deal information is error‑free (e.g., typos, expired promotions).
Cross‑border shipping offers or currency conversions are exact.
You acknowledge that you use deal and recipe information at your own discretion and should verify details directly with merchants or trusted sources.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Walleto — including but not limited to the Felix AI software, logos, design, text, graphics, and deal aggregation algorithms — are owned by Walleto or its licensors and are protected by United States, Canadian, and international copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service without express written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Walleto and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
Any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in deal listings, prices, or recipe content.
Actions or omissions of third‑party merchants, including product quality, fulfillment, or returns.
Unavailability of any product or deal.
User‑generated errors, such as misapplication of coupons or incorrect address entry.
Temporary or permanent interruptions of the Service.
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Walleto.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so the above may not apply to you in full.
8. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any user account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or disrupts the Service for others. You may delete your account at any time via the app settings. Upon termination, your right to access Walleto ceases immediately.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
For users residing in the United States: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association’s rules. Class action waivers apply.
For users residing in Canada: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. Any dispute shall be resolved by the courts of Ontario, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
Informal resolution: Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@walleto-app.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. For material changes, we will provide notice via the app or email. Your continued use of Walleto after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
